Donald J. Herrema Senior Advisor

Donald J. Herrema is a Senior Advisor of Stone Point and the founder of BlackSterling Partners, LLC. Mr. Herrema has more than twenty-five years of executive experience in the asset management and private wealth segments. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Bessemer Trust, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Loring Ward, Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Trust (a subsidiary of Invesco), and Head of Private Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley. He began his career at Wells Fargo Bank, where he ultimately served as both President of Wells Fargo Securities and Head of the Mutual Funds Division. He has a strong track record of growing businesses both strategically and via acquisitions, including introducing unique investment offerings. Mr. Herrema holds a B.A. from Whittier College and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Southern California.
