Lockton International Holdings Limited was formed in 2006 to acquire Alexander Forbes International Risk Services (AFIRS), an international insurance broker that operates in the United Kingdom, Asia and Latin America. Today, Lockton International is operated in partnership with the Lockton Companies, the world’s largest privately held independent insurance broker. Trident III and Lockton, Inc. worked together as partners on the November 2006 acquisition of AFIRS from Alexander Forbes Limited, a publicly-traded South African financial services company.
