Auction.com, LLC (f/k/a Real Estate Disposition Corporation) is a business process outsourcing company located in Irvine, California, that helps mortgage lenders and homebuilders liquidate their real estate owned properties through an auction sale process. As the largest residential real estate auction firm in the United States, Auction.com provides comprehensive auction services, including pre-auction marketing, overseeing service providers that manage open houses and perform property preservation work, conducting the auction sale process and administering the closing process in coordination with third party lenders, title companies, escrow and closing companies. Auction.com also offers online auctions of commercial real estate property and loan notes, as well as specialty auctions. Further, Auction.com offers loss mitigation and title services on a nationwide basis. Trident IV acquired its interest in Auction.com from the company’s founders in November 2008.
