Investment Committee
Stone Point Capital’s investment activities are led by Charles A. Davis, Stephen Friedman, Meryl D. Hartzband, James D. Carey, David J. Wermuth and Nicolas D. Zerbib, who bring substantial private equity, investment banking, insurance, government and executive management experience to the firm. This group began working together on behalf of the Trident Funds in 1998 and, prior to that time, Mr. Davis and Mr. Friedman worked together for more than 20 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. The Investment Committee is supported by more than thirty-five investment professionals, operating partners and senior advisors, including a group of principals who have been with Stone Point for approximately eleven years on average and have prior experience at leading private equity, investment banking, financial services, corporate law and accounting firms.
