Craig Broderick


Craig is a Senior Advisor at Stone Point Capital.

Craig joined Stone Point in 2019 after more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Craig is a Senior Director of Goldman, Sachs & Co., from which he retired as an active employee in January 2018. Until then, he was the firm’s Chief Risk Officer, a member of its Management Committee and chair or co-chair of key risk committees. In this capacity, he reported to the firm’s CEO and was responsible for managing the firm’s Risk Division. The Risk Division, which had in excess of 1,000 employees, oversees control of the firm’s credit, market, liquidity, operational, model and insurance risks. Craig spent 32 years with Goldman Sachs, primarily in the risk field, and at the time of his retirement was the longest serving CRO of a major financial institution.
