Environmental, Social & Governance

At Stone Point, we recognize that it is important to include an integrated assessment of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in our investment process and the ongoing monitoring of our portfolio. Stone Point is committed to considering material ESG issues relevant to its investment strategy. As applicable and appropriate, Stone Point:

  • Assesses a potential investment based on what we consider to be the magnitude of its potential ESG risks and impacts
  • Designs a governance structure that provides appropriate levels of oversight
  • Implements compensation and other policies that align the interests of owners and management
  • Seeks appropriate and applicable disclosure on ESG issues by portfolio companies
  • Monitors portfolio investments on an ongoing basis
  • Reports on ESG program to LPAC

Stone Point established a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee in 2018, with a mission to promote diversity and inclusion within the Stone Point community. The committee has undertaken a variety of initiatives focused on recruiting and retaining diverse talent, educating our people and portfolio companies, and continually striving to find ways to make progress going forward.

Community Involvement

Stone Point and its employees are committed to making a positive social impact — both locally and globally. We have sponsored numerous charitable events and helped empower organizations that are important to our team and our partners. Stone Point has a company-match program for employee donations, and encourages its employees to participate in community service activities, including through company-sponsored paid time off for volunteer activities.

Stone Point is generally focused on charitable giving to support education, health, well-being, social justice and other causes that are important to Stone Point and its team members.

Also, given the national reach of the Trident portfolio, Stone Point strives to support portfolio companies with initiatives that they are pursuing to promote charitable giving.
