Associates play a critical role in Stone Point’s effort to analyze specific companies for investment, while also providing support for managing current portfolio companies. Associates typically have two to three years of investment banking or investment management experience, as well as strong analytical and quantitative skills. Candidates must also have a strong record of academic achievement in college.
Analysts will have an opportunity to understand the fundamentals of investing across the capital structure and industries. They will work alongside associates and the deal team to complete sector research, financial analyses, run financial models, perform business due diligence and carry out competitive analyses. Analysts typically are newly graduated from college and have a strong record of academic achievement.
We also have internship opportunities for Summer Associates and Analysts. The summer program is generally eight weeks and gives interns the opportunity to work alongside deal teams across various functions.
