David Brickman

David joined Stone Point in 2021 and has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate and financial services industry. He currently serves as CEO of NewPoint Real Estate Capital.

Prior to joining Stone Point, he was CEO of Freddie Mac, one of the largest providers of mortgage financing in the U.S. He also served as a member of the company’s Board of Directors. During his tenure, he drove significant innovation and expansion in Freddie Mac’s products and offerings and led the $2+ trillion company through a period of significant growth, change and disruption. David established Freddie Mac’s flagship K-Deal securitization program as one of the leading securitized products in the structured finance markets and served as a senior executive of the company’s Multifamily business as it grew from annual production of $16 billion in 2010 to nearly $80 billion in 2018.
