Trident I/Pre-Trident Investments: Aggregate Invested Capital and Capital Commitment amounts included on this Site includes Pre-Trident investments and investments made by Trident I. Information is not included on this Site regarding the individual investments.

From 1985 to 1993, prior to the formation of Trident I, Stone Point Capital’s predecessor operations originated seven investments made by Marsh & McLennan, including the formation of six new insurance companies and the recapitalization of an existing insurance company. The current principals of Stone Point Capital were not involved in making the investment decisions with respect to the Pre-Trident investments, but managed the exit of these investments from mid-1998 through May 31, 2005.

From 1994 through 1999, Stone Point Capital invested $473.4 million through Trident I in nine portfolio companies. The current principals of Stone Point Capital were not involved in making most of the investment decisions with respect to the Trident I investments but became responsible for managing such investments in mid-1998.
